Convicted felon and department store rapist Donald Trump sat for an interview Sunday with Kristen Welker on Meet the Press to discuss his agenda for the First 100 Days in office.
Let’s forget that Joe Biden is still the American President, and the economy is booming. It’s time to bust out Project 2025 and learn how to spell fascist. That’s f-a-s-c-i-s-t ... ˈfa-shist · -sist. noun.
America’s worst traitor wants to launch the Fourth Reich by:
Putting Liz Cheney in prison.
Pardoning his January 6 Brownshirts on day one.
Prioritizing deportations of migrants with a criminal record – despite the fact they are already deported following sentencing.
The serial liar said at one point that he believes everyone who is here illegally must ultimately be deported – except for odious chaos agent Elon Musk.
Talk of permitting Dreamers - people brought to this country as children - to remain, while simultaneously talking about stripping people born in this country of birthright citizenship. Birthright citizenship is provided for in the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.
That didn’t seem to concern serial con artist Trump. He said the answer is simple: “Fuck you. That’s why.’
A friendly reminder:
On January 6, 2021 Trump’s Brownshirts stormed the Capital to overthrow democracy. They failed.
On December 4, 2024, Korean legislators stormed the National Assembly to preserve democracy. They succeeded.

Highlights of South Korea martial law fallout for Monday, December 9, 2024
- South Korea arrests ex-Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun after a failed martial law attempt. Kim, who resigned earlier this week, appeared at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. He faces an immediate travel ban, which suggests he surrendered his passport.
- Later on Sunday, Interior Minister Lee Sang-min resigned. Both Lee and embattled President Yoon are under investigation for alleged insurrection following the declaration of martial law.
- The national police are also investigating claims of treason against Yoon and other top ministers.
- A vote to impeach Yoon failed Saturday evening when all members of his political party walked out of the National Assembly. The next impeachment vote against Yoon will take place this upcoming Saturday. Lee Jae-myung, leader of the opposition Democratic Party, has vowed to hold a vote every Saturday until Yoon is impeached.
- In a public address given by Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and the ruling People Power Party Chair Han Dong-hoon, the two said they would cooperate in operational matters related to "national governance."
They did not announce when any such transition would take place. Han Dong-hoon said they plan to map out the president's "orderly resignation," but did not elaborate on how their decision would correspond with the Constitution.
"President Yoon will not be involved in handling state affairs, including foreign policy, even before his resignation," Han Dong-hoon said in the joint public address.

The Envoy of Mr. Cogito (1993)
By Zbigniew Herbert (1924-1998)
Herbert was born in Lwów, Poland, now recognized as Lviv, Ukraine. Herbert had the misfortune of living under first the Nazi, and then the Soviet, occupations. That harrowing experience informs his work.
The poem’s title is derived from René Descartes' (1596-1650) famous statement, Cogito, ergo sum: 'I think, therefore I am.'
Bogdana Carpenter, Professor Emerita of Slavic Languages and Literature at the University of Michigan, provides the following translation of Zbigniew Herbert’s poem.
“go upright among those who are on their knees
among those with their backs turned and those toppled in the dust
you were saved not in order to live
you have little time you must give testimony
be courageous when the mind deceives you be courageous
in the final account only this is important
and let your helpless Anger be like the sea
whenever you hear the voice of the insulted and beaten”
To quote Greg Olear:
“Read those lines out loud a few times: it’s powerful, inspiring stuff. 'You were saved not in order to live,' to me, means that we all have an obligation, collectively, to do what we can to make the world a better place. Or, as Star Trek puts it: Survival is insufficient. More is required."
Following the unimaginable devastation of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan surrendered to the Americans, ending World War II on September 2, 1945.
And now America has succumbed to the very fascism that it fought so valiantly to eliminate in both Germany and Japan.
By the time a convicted felon and department store rapist is sworn into office on January 21, 2025 - this will mark 80-years since America established itself as the international Gold Standard for all people who believe in freedom.
We are still a work-in-progress, yet what is happening now cannot be justified for any reason.
